We have this month successfully de-commissioned an old oxidiser which was a bit of a gas guzzler and sent it away for recycling.

The project also included redirecting process air from the old oxidiser towards an existing more thermal efficient RTO unit located on site.

The entire project was completed in 2 weeks and will significantly reduce the site overall gas consumption. With the rising costs of gas in the UK the payback time on these projects becomes reasonable.
